Big Sky Country. #montana #livingbozeman #summertime
You think you world is safe? It is an illusion. A comforting lie told to protect you. Enjoy these final moments of peace. For I have returned to have my vengeance. So, shall we begin?

Alright, it’s June. (!!) So as a way to keep myself accountable for my mental New Year’s Resolution (TM), here’s a list of the books I’ve read so far this year:
The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien
The Waiting Place, Eileen Button
The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
The Soloist, Steve Lopez
The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chbosky
Eon, Alison Goodman
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, Alan Bradley
Of these, I’ve only read The Hobbit and The Great Gatsby before (though I’d seen the film version of The Soloist), and the only one I’d hesitate in recommending is Eon. Still not sure if I like it—not enough to read the sequel, which I suppose is a indication of itself. I also didn’t like The Alchemist all that well, though I can see why lots of people do. I absolutely adored The Book Thief, despite the sadness. Ditto Gatsby and Guernsey.
New Year’s Resolution (TM) is complete (read more books than last year), and it’s only six months in. Which makes me feel like I’m slowly becoming an English major again—good feeling.
My first time using the Tumblr app on my new iPad and my first thought:
“Wow, I’m loving all these pics of Ben Whishaw and the Star Trek cast in retina display.”
